KNOWLEDGE IS POWER

    Knowledge is power. This is true whether the power which knowledge gives is used for good or for evil. By his medical knowledge, a doctor can cure diseases and save his patients' life. But the black mailer by the knowledge of some ones secret can bleed his victim under the threat of disclosure. It generally shows that the man who knows some advantage over the man who does not know. In this way educated classes has aways been able to rule over the ignorants.
    Desire for the power is in man's nature. The history of the world, so far as the man is concerned, is a history of power. Chestes Field ones said:
“Knowledge is comfortable and necessary retreat and shelter
for us in an advanced age. If we do not plant it while young,
it will give is no shade when we grow old.”

    Physically man is comparatively weak animal. He cannot run like the horses and fly like the birds. He is no match in strength for elephants, lions and bears. Yet he conquers all these strong and furious beats. It is his superior knowledge and intelligence that makes him the master of creatures.
“It was the knowledge given to the man that made him the true deputy of God.”
